nagios-plugins-extra software package provides Plugins for the nagios network monitoring and manegement system., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nagios-plugins-extra
nagios-plugins-extra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nagios-plugins-extra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nagios-plugins-extra *
You will get with nagios-plugins-extra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
